We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cozy atmosphere of the lodge, making us feel right at home. The attention to detail in preparing the lodge for our arrival was evident, and we appreciated the fully-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The proximity to the town of Dunkeld was also a bonus, providing easy access to shops and services. Although there were a few minor issues, such as kitchen doors not fitting properly and some outdoor furniture needing sprucing up, they did not greatly impact our overall experience. My stay at Hatton Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The lodge itself was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything I needed. The beds were soft and cozy, and the water pressure in the showers was surprisingly good. I particularly enjoyed the sunny deck and patio, where I spent many relaxing moments. The location of the lodge was stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife. I even had the pleasure of spotting red squirrels, deer, and a heron from the lodge balcony. The lodge provided the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoying nature.
Although there were a few minor inconveniences, such as having to ask for toilet roll and the highchair I had requested, these issues were quickly resolved by the staff. Additionally, the new location of the lodge, although further away from the main house, still offered breathtaking views.
